Your GDPR Rights
Control your personal data and exercise your rights under EU Regulation 2016/679.
Right of Access — Art. 15 GDPR
You can request:
- Confirmation that we are processing your personal data
- A complete copy of all data we hold about you
- The purposes of the processing and the categories of data
- The planned retention period
- Information about your other rights
Right to Rectification — Art. 16 GDPR
You can correct your data when:
- Personal data is inaccurate or incomplete
- Your contact details have changed (name, email)
- Any information in your account is incorrect

Right to Erasure — Art. 17 GDPR
You can request deletion of your data when:
- You no longer wish to use Memorama
- You withdraw your consent for processing
- The data was processed unlawfully
- There is no longer a legitimate purpose for retaining the data
Legal Limitations
Certain data may not be deleted due to legal obligations (for example billing and invoicing records required by accounting law). We will inform you of any specific limitations when processing your request.
Right to Data Portability — Art. 20 GDPR
You can export:
- All your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Your guest list
- Memory album photos, videos, and messages
- Account preferences and settings
Exported data is provided in a format suitable for transfer to another service.
Right to Object & Restrict — Art. 18–21 GDPR
Right to Restrict Processing
You can request a temporary “freeze” of your data in certain legally defined situations, for example while you contest the accuracy of the data.
Right to Object
You can object to the processing of your data for any purpose that is not strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested.
How to Submit a Request

Specify the type of request and include your account email address or other identifying information.
Identity Verification
We will confirm your identity to protect your data (typically within 1–2 business days).
Processing
We will fulfil your request and send you a confirmation. Response time: maximum 30 calendar days.

Data Storage Location
All data is stored on servers located within the European Union. We do not transfer data outside the EU.
Automated Decision-Making & Profiling
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that significantly affects you. All important decisions (account suspension, etc.) are made by humans.
AI Face Recognition
Face grouping data generated by our AI feature is used exclusively to power the grouping feature within your event album. It is never shared, sold, or used for identification purposes outside the platform.
Right to Compensation
In the event of a data protection breach attributable to Memorama, you have the right to material and non-material compensation under Art. 82 GDPR.
